About Karen Bellone
Karen Bellone, MFA, is a Certified End-of-Life Doula and Death Educator, founder of The Seventh Sense in NY’s Hudson Valley. She also founded Exit Strategy for Dying, promoting a new narrative around death and grief. With a background in filmmaking and photography, she integrates visual and auditory perception into her work to bring comfort to those facing mortality. Trained with INELDA, she worked with an innovative hospice in Los Angeles, training volunteers and professionals to bring compassion to end-of-life care. She believes in demystifying death and fostering a "good death" while aiding families through grief and bereavement.
